TorPlan Product Maintenance Package

A comprehensive maintenance package to compliment and support our extensive range of torsion spring lift assisted access covers & frames after installation.

1680 SERIES FEATURES:

  • Chequer plate solid top lids
  • Underbraced where necessary to meet the stated load rating
  • Multiple design supplied with main beams and intermediate beams to support the lid joints over the opening
  • Heavy duty steel frame fitted with stainless steel maintenance free torsion springs
    (Springs are fitted within channel of frame and outside of the clear opening)
  • Enclosed hinges for added security. Frame fitted with WRC seal as standard
  • Self locating staybar
  • Special captive lock and lift locking device with unique key (TORKEY)
  • Frames are fitted with lifting points to aid site positioning
  • Manufactured under an ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management System
  • Finish: Hot dipped galvanised to BS EN ISO 1461 as standard

  • /Grid2 - A hinged skeletal type safety grid c/w danger warning sign to BS5378
    (Grid locks in vertical position)
  • /Grid3 - Drop on open mesh safety grid which can be used as a walk on working platform.
  • /RPP - Recessed padlock point (for user padlock) fitted to underside of lid.
    (Padlock point has hinged lid for easy access)
  • /Grid3H - Hinged open mesh safety grid, which can be used as a working platform
    ( grid locks in vertical position)
  • (Adding safety grids may add to frame depth and width)
