Why would we choose a maintenance package on these products?

Choosing a maintenance package prolongs the operational life of the product.

Damage can occur on all moving parts, such as recessed padlock points and padlock point brackets, lid staybars and brackets, hinge pins, torsion springs, rubber seals etc, and can be easily replaced with the correct parts. In many cases this will often prevent the cover and frame being replaced and re-installed at significant cost.

Peter Savage Limited torsion spring assisted products have been designed so that even if there is significant damage to a lid, this, in most cases can be totally replaced.

Ensuring the cover and frame is in good mechanical working order will help prevent accidents, damage and loss of resources due to operational down time.

It could also help with premature replacement of covers and assist in overall asset management and Health & Safety risk assessments. The agreement can also aid cash flow forecasting including capital expenditure planning thereby leading to more accurate budgeting with fixed price planned maintenance rather than the variable cost of ad hoc repairs.
